Gelatin that has been flavored with fruit cocktail and port is spread over sponge cake, covered in custard, and chilled.

Put the canned fruit on top of the cake in a glass serving bowl.

Gelatin should be prepared per the directions on the package and poured over fruit and cake.

In a small pan over medium heat, combine custard powder and sugar.

Add milk and stir while heating until creamy and thick.

Pour over the mixture of sponge cake.
