Baked Ziti IV
Ziti pasta is layered with Provolone, mozzarella, cottage cheese, sour cream and a meaty sauce with ground beef and sausage.
Large pot of lightly salted water should be brought to a boil.
For 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente, cook pasta in boiling water; drain.
Over medium heat, warm olive oil in a sizable, heavy skillet.
In oil, cook onion until it is soft.
Add rosemary and garlic and stir.
Place in a compact bowl.
In the skillet, add sausage and ground beef.
Cook until evenly browned over medium-high heat.
Add the spaghetti sauce and the onion mixture and stir.
Use salt to season.
Ten minutes of simmering on low heat.
