Best Formula Three-Cheese Fondue
The best fondue is made with three types of cheese: Gruyère, which adds a nutty flavor, Cheddar, which adds tanginess, and Emmentaler, which unifies the flavors.
In a little saucepan, heat wine until it boils.
Meanwhile, in a medium saucepan set over medium-low heat, melt the butter.
Until a thick paste forms, whisk in the flour.
Once the mixture is smooth, whisk in the wine.
Add Gruyère Cheddar and Emmentaler cheese gradually and stir until melted, about 5 minutes.
Fill fondue pot with cheese mixture.
