These egg white and corn syrup-based no-bake divinity cookies are airy and delicate.

Combine sugar, corn syrup, salt, and water in a 2-quart saucepan.

Cook until the sugar dissolves (260 degrees F or 125 degrees C), stirring only to achieve this.

In the meantime, whip egg whites into stiff peaks.

Pour the syrup over the egg whites gradually while the electric mixer is running at high speed.

Add vanilla and continue beating for about 4 minutes or until the candy holds its shape.

Drop from a teaspoon quickly onto wax paper, then let cool.
