Cake Mix Cinnamon Rolls
The secret ingredient in these buttery cinnamon yeast rolls with pecans on top is white cake mix.
Mix warm water and yeast in a small bowl.
Allow to stand for 10 minutes or until creamy.
Combine the yeast mixture, the cake mix, and 3 cups of the flour in a large bowl and stir to combine.
Stir well after each addition as you add the remaining flour, half a cup at a time.
When the dough comes together, turn it out onto a surface that has been lightly dusted with flour and knead it for 8 minutes, or until it is smooth and elastic.
Large bowl should be lightly oiled before adding the dough and turning to coat with oil.
Cover with a damp cloth and let rise in a warm location for about 30 minutes, or until it has doubled in volume.
