Cherry-Almond Snow Cookies
These have a real cherry taste with a double punch of almond: ground almonds and a touch of amaretto liqueur.

Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

Use parchment paper to line two baking sheets.

Blend butter.

White sugar and 1 cup powdered sugar combined in a large bowl and creamed with an electric mixer.

Add cherries, cherry juice concentrate, vanilla extract, and almond extract to the mixture.

Blend in almond meal.

Separately, whisk together the flour and salt; add to the butter mixture; and stir to thoroughly combine.

As cookies will expand during baking, shape dough into 1 1/2-inch balls and place on the prepared baking sheets with space between them.

For about 20 minutes, or until the edges are golden, bake in the preheated oven.

For ten minutes, let the baking sheets cool.
