Cinnamon Spice Drop Cookies

Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Grease baking trays.
The butter-flavored shortening, light brown sugar, and dark brown sugar are creamed together in a sizable bowl.
One at a time, beat in the eggs.
Next, stir in the milk and vanilla while continuing to beat until the mixture is fluffy and light.
Baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves; combine; stir into batter until well combined.
Add the cinnamon chips and pecans, if using.
Approximately 2 inches apart, drop rounded spoonfuls of dough onto the preheated cookie sheets.
Just until the cookies lose their gloss, bake the cookies for 8 to 10 minutes in a preheated oven.
Remove from cookie sheets and cool on wire racks.
