Cranberry Walnut Cookies
These cranberry-walnut cookies have a bit of citrus flavor though the use of orange juice in the dough. Great alternative cookie for when you run out of chocolate chips.
Set oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).
Cooking sheet greased.
In a sizable mixing bowl, combine butter, brown sugar, and white sugar to make a cream.
The creamed mixture should be combined with milk, orange juice, and egg.
In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda; combine with the wet ingredients in the mixing bowl to create the cookie dough.
Add walnuts and cranberries to the dough.
By teaspoonfuls, drop the dough onto the lined baking sheet.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
Before moving the cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling, give them one minute to cool on the baking sheet.
To serve the cookies, cover them with confectioners’ sugar.
