Ditalini with Roasted Tomato Sauce and Goat Cheese
This delicious ditalini pasta dish with tomato sauce and goat cheese features real San Marzano tomatoes as its star ingredient.
Set oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit (220 degrees C).
Oil the bottom of a 9×13-inch casserole dish with olive oil.
Cut each tomato into three pieces before adding the tomatoes and their juices to the dish.
Add 2 teaspoons of oregano, the onion, garlic, and red pepper flakes, and stir to combine.
Roast for one hour in a preheated oven.
Take the dish out of the oven, stir it for a moment, then roast it for another 15 minutes.
Add water to the roasted tomato mixture after moving it to a saucepan.
Use a potato masher or immersion blender to blend the mixture until it has the desired sauce consistency.
