Gluten-Free Choc Chip Oatmeal Muffins
Take advantage of these chocolate chip oatmeal muffins that are gluten-free for breakfast or a snack.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
12 muffin tins should be greased or lined with paper liners.
In a bowl, combine the butter, brown sugar, and egg; beat until creamy.
In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and allspice.
Mix the butter mixture with half of the flour mixture.
Mix well after adding applesauce to the butter mixture.
Oats and chocolate chips are added after stirring the remaining 1/2 of the flour mixture into the butter mixture just until combined.
Fill the muffin tins with the prepared batter.
Bake for about 25 minutes, or until golden and the tops spring back when lightly pressed.
