Grandma’s Christmas Meatballs
These beefy Christmas meatballs are simmered in the slow cooker in a sweet and savory sauce. No other meatball recipe is easier or more delicious.
Blend breadcrumbs and ground chuck with evaporated milk.
Soup and 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce are combined thoroughly in a bowl.
For one hour, cover and chill.
Preheat the oven’s broiler while positioning the oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
About 36 small meatballs made of the meat mixture should be formed.
On a baking sheet, arrange the meatballs.
Meatballs should be briefly browned for 2 to 3 minutes in a preheated oven.
Broil meatballs for an additional 2 minutes or until browned on the other side.
Meatballs are taken out of the oven and placed in a slow cooker.
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the remaining 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, port wine, and ketchup.
For about two minutes, cook and stir until dissolved.
