Homemade Hamburger Buns
These tender hamburger buns go great with pulled pork, burgers, and other favorite sandwich fillings. They are far superior to anything you could get from a plastic bag in terms of taste.

Add the yeast to the bowl of a sizable stand mixer; stir in the warm water and 1/2 cup of flour until smooth.

Allow mixture to sit for 10 to 15 minutes until foamy.

The yeast mixture should be thoroughly blended with 1 egg, melted butter, sugar, and salt.

Install a dough hook on a stand mixer, and knead the dough for 5 to 6 minutes on a low speed, until it is soft and sticky.

Use a scraper if necessary.

Use a silicone spatula to poke and prod the dough; if a lot of the dough sticks to the spatula, add a little more flour.
