Homemade Marshmallow Bald Eagles
These adorable miniature eagles made from marshmallows and coconut make wonderful cupcake toppers, treats for Philadelphia Eagles supporters, or Fourth of July place settings.
Over simmering water in the top of a double boiler, add white confectioners’ coating.
Until the chocolate is melted, stir frequently, scraping down the sides to prevent scorching, for about 5 minutes.
The marshmallows should be inserted with a toothpick before being dipped into the melted white chocolate.
Place on the mint sandwich cookie after being rolled in coconut.
Cut a slit where the beak should be with kitchen shears, then insert a cashew.
Chocolate chips must be melted.
On each side of the eagle’s head, draw a dot with a line around it using a toothpick to represent the eyes.
