Homesteader Cornbread
This quick side dish pairs well with chili and has moist cornbread with a crisp, golden crust.
Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).
Combine cornmeal and milk in a small bowl; let stand for 5 minutes.
Butter a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a big bowl.
Add the eggs and oil and stir until well combined.
Put batter in the ready pan.
