Lemon Spritz Cookies
These lemon spritz cookies are ideal for the holiday season because they have a zesty, tangy flavor and a soft texture from the cream cheese.
Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Using an electric mixer, combine butter and cream cheese in a bowl and beat until creamy.
Add sugar and blend until fluffy.
Lemon zest, vanilla extract, and egg yolk should all be added.
Mix well.
Once the dough is combined, gradually add the salt and flour.
Create small logs of dough, put one in a cookie press, and press the other onto ungreased baking sheets.
