Lisa’s Tomatillo and Strawberry Pie
This delicious tomatillo and strawberry pie is ideal for summer evenings because tomatillos give it a flavor that is similar to rhubarb.

Set oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees C).

A 9-inch pie dish should be lined with 1 pie crust.

In a bowl, combine the strawberries, tomatillos, tapioca sugar, and lemon juice; stir occasionally until the sugar is dissolved, about 15 minutes.

Mixture of strawberries and tomatillos should be poured into the pie crust.

Over the filling, scatter slices of butter.

With the second pie crust, cover the pie and seal the edges with your fingers.

Slit the top crust to allow air to circulate.

Pie should be put on a baking pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for about 50 minutes, or until the top crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbling.
