Microwave Cake
Easy, quick cake that takes 12 minutes or less to prepare in the microwave. My preferred pairings are yellow cake mix with apple pie filling or chocolate cake mix with cherry pie filling ( I add a bit of cinnamon for flavor to this one.)
The cake mix box should be moistened with the applesauce, pie filling, and eggs.
Use a microwave-safe bundt pan or a bowl with a microwave-safe cup or cone in the centre as an alternative (to mimic a bundt pan).
Fill the bowl holding the cup with the mixture.
Bake for a further six minutes and thirty seconds on high after turning the pan.
Take the bowl out of the oven, cover it with a dish, and let it stand for five minutes (this finishes the cooking process).
For an easy, delicious dessert, flip the cake over onto a plate and remove the cone (cup).
Good when served hot with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
