Microwave Chocolate Pie
a combination of meringue and chocolate. A quick and delectable microwave pie!
Set oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit (190 degrees C).
Combine sugar, cornstarch, cocoa, salt, and 1/2 cup milk in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish and stir until smooth.
Once thoroughly combined, stir in the remaining milk.
Stir halfway through cooking.
Microwave on high for 5 to 8 minutes, or until thick.
Place a small amount of the hot mixture in a small bowl and whisk in the egg yolks.
Remix the original ingredients in the casserole dish.
Stir frequently while heating on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, or until thickened.
Add the butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla and mix well.
Add mixture to pastry case.
