Pear Pie III
This delicious creamy pear pie is a family favorite of mine, and my kids are always begging me to make it! My mother, who is renowned for her outrageously fantastic cooking, is the source of this recipe.

Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).

A 9-inch pie plate should have the pie pastry pressed into the bottom and up the sides.

edge flanging With the small ends facing the center of the pie crust, place the pear halves cut side down.

The butter and sugar should be thoroughly combined in a medium bowl before adding the eggs one at a time and beating until fluffy.

Add vanilla and flour and stir.

Pour over the pears’ tops.

The pears should be soft and the custard should be set in the center after baking for an hour in a preheated oven.

Before slicing and serving, allow to cool completely.
