Rover’s tail will really wag when you serve him these healthful, homemade treats for dogs that blend ground beef, brown rice, eggs, and oatmeal with grated potatoes, carrots, and celery. Baked in convenient, portion-sized muffin cups, they’re easy to make and freeze well.

Set the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (205 degrees C).

Grease 3 large muffin tins with 36 cups each.

Rice and water should be combined in a medium saucepan.

Uncovered, bring to a boil over high heat, and cook for 10 minutes.

Cover and simmer for 20 minutes on low heat.

Take off the heat, allow to cool for a few minutes, then fluff with a fork and reserve.

Combine the potatoes, carrots, celery, ground beef, and eggs in a big bowl.

You can use a strong spoon or your hands to combine the ingredients.

Rice, rolled oats, and olive oil are all added.
