Pork Apple Meatballs
These meatballs have a sweet and salty taste that comes from the ground pork, applesauce, soy sauce, and carrots.
Set the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Spray cooking oil in a 2-quart baking dish.
The dried mushrooms should be put in a bowl.
Pour 1/4 cup of warm water over the mushrooms and let them soak for about 30 minutes or until they have rehydrated.
Drain, saving the water, and set the water and the mushrooms aside.
In a large bowl, combine the egg white, ground pork, carrots, onion, garlic, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, and the drained mushrooms.
Mix well with your hands.
Make 16 meatballs out of the mixture, and place them in the prepared baking dish.
