Raspberry Fruit Spread without Pectin
Raspberries, sugar, and lemon juice are the only three ingredients required for this simple raspberry fruit spread; pectin is not required. ideal for preserving your summer harvest.

Lemon juice, sugar, and raspberries should all be combined well in a saucepan.

Overnight, cover and chill.

3 jars should be checked for cracks and any rusted rings should be discarded.

Immerse until jam is ready in simmering water.

Clean rings and new lids in warm, soapy water.

Slowly bring the raspberry mixture to a boil, then simmer it uncovered over medium heat for 40–1 hour, or until it thickens.

Every few minutes, stir, and use a ladle or a large spoon to remove any foam that forms.
