Ricotta Cake
Gussy up your yellow cake with this ricotta variation.
Set oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 degrees C).
Butter and flour a 9×13-inch pan.
Follow the cake preparation instructions on the package.
Combine the ricotta, sugar, eggs, and vanilla in a medium bowl.
Blend until uniform.
Add spoonfuls at a time to the uncooked cake.
Bake the cake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Sprinkle confectioners sugar over the cooled cake.
