Green chiles, lime juice, and cumin add zesty flavor to this super simple slow cooker recipe for shredded chicken.

In the bottom of a slow cooker, add oil.

Add chicken thighs and breasts.

1 can of chili peppers, 1/2 of the lime juice, onion, garlic, cumin, salt, and pepper.

The chicken should be cooked on low for about 8 hours.

With two forks, remove the chicken and shred it.

Add the chicken back to the crock pot.

Stir in the remaining chiles and lime juice.

Taste the dish and add salt and pepper as desired.
