Tomato Chicken
This straightforward main dish recipe flavors the chicken and tomatoes with chili powder, turmeric, garlic, and ginger.
In a large heavy pot over high heat, combine the chicken, tomatoes, garlic, ginger, chili powder, turmeric, and salt; cook and stir until the chicken starts to brown; then lower heat to medium-low and let mixture simmer for about 45 minutes, or until the chicken is no longer pink in the center and the juices run clear.
