Ultimate Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes
Using homemade chicken stock gives these Instant Pot mashed potatoes so much flavor that they don’t need milk, cream, or even salt — only fresh garlic required.
Potatoes should be layered onto a steamer basket inside a multipurpose electric pressure cooker (such as Instant Pot).
Put the lid on after adding the chicken stock.
Set the timer for 9 minutes while choosing high pressure in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
Give the pressure 10 to 15 minutes to build.
Utilizing the quick-release technique with caution, release the pressure for 5 minutes as directed by the manufacturer.
Lock released, lid removed.
Sliced potatoes should be removed from the steamer basket with care.
Drain and save any remaining stock.
Select the Saute function and add butter and garlic to the empty pressure cooker.
90 seconds of stirring and cooking.
Put the potatoes back in the pot and add cream cheese to the mash.
