Combine dry bread crumbs and lemon pepper in a small bowl.
Put the egg substitute in a different, tiny bowl.
Catfish pieces should be dipped in the egg substitute before being coated with the bread crumb mixture.
Over medium heat, warm the oil in a medium skillet.
Put the pieces of coated catfish in the hot oil.
About 15 minutes of frying on both sides or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Dry off with paper towels.
