Cherry Rum Balls
These are so delicious that you can’t stop at one.
Rum and corn syrup are added after melting the chocolate chips.
Pecans, pecan crumbs from vanilla wafer cookies, and 1/2 cup confectioners’ sugar are combined.
Over the crumb mixture, drizzle the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
Using the mixture, form 1-inch balls.
In the remaining confectioners’ sugar, roll the balls.
Each cookie should have a cherry half in the center, pressed down lightly.
For several days, keep in an airtight container to develop flavor.
