Magic Cake
A simple batter splits into 3 distinct layers as it bakes in this beautiful magic cake that features creamy custard in the middle.

Set oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit (165 degrees C).

A 8-inch baking dish should be greased.

Egg whites are beaten until stiff in a big bowl using an electric mixer.

In a separate large bowl, combine egg yolks and white sugar.

Using an electric mixer, beat the mixture for two minutes, or until it is light and fluffy.

Add the butter and vanilla extract and beat for two minutes or until smooth.

Stir in the flour.

Beat milk in gradually.

Gently fold egg whites into the batter.

Fill the prepared baking dish with the batter.
