Dairy-Free Chocolate Sauce
Skip the dairy and make this chocolate sauce with cocoa powder, sugar, and water for dairy-free drinks or a dip for fresh fruit.
Salt and cocoa powder should be combined in a bowl.
In a saucepan, heat the water and sugar while stirring until the sugar dissolves.
Slowly stir in the cocoa mixture.
heat to a medium setting.
Simmer for about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sauce starts to slightly thicken.
Add vanilla after removing from the heat.
When the sauce has thickened, pour it into a storage container and let it cool there uncovered.
To cool a container more quickly, place it on an ice pack.
Cover and keep in the fridge.
