Easy Mochi
Mochi are small Japanese cakes made with glutinous rice flour that have a soft, chewy outer layer and a deliciously sticky filling made of sweetened red bean paste.

Red bean paste should be wrapped in aluminium foil and put in the freezer for at least an hour to become solid.

In a bowl that can be microwaved, thoroughly combine the glutinous rice flour and green tea powder.

Water and sugar are added while mixing until smooth.

After three minutes and ten seconds in the microwave, cover the bowl with plastic wrap.

Red bean paste should be taken out of the freezer and divided into 8 equal balls.

Place aside.

Remove the microwave-heated rice flour mixture.

For a further 15 to 30 seconds, stir and heat under cover.
